Nepal Army Club secured the Lalit Memorial U-18 Championship title with the defeat of Club Sankata at the final on Monday.
In an evenly contested match, the lone strike from Arki Bista proved to be the difference as Army Club went on to win the Lalit Memorial Cup for the second time running.
The winners, Army Club received cash prize of Rs 300,000, while the runner-up Club Sankata claimed Rs 150,000.
Army Club also scooped four of the five individual awards up for grabs in the championships. Biswas Udas received the individual accolade in defense and Dinesh Yonzon in mid-field. Arpan Karki was deemed the best goalkeeper while Chakra Tamang received the award for the best coach.
Sankata front man, Dipesh Ale Magar was declared the best forward.
The winners of the individual awards received Rs 10,000 as cash prize.
